Homeschool Students

Are you a homeschool student? Then you will feel right at home at Charleston Southern. CSU is home to an exciting Christian environment, and our faculty, staff and coached embrace and exhibit a biblical worldview. Our small class sizes foster an environment for critical thinking and growth. You will be assigned a personal enrollment counselor who will help you work through the steps to enrollment in our streamlined admissions process. Charleston Southern is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and accepts dual-enrollment credits. 

Admission Requirements

 

Core High School Requirements

  • 4 years English
  • 3 years Math
  • 3 years Science (2 labs)
  • 3 years History

Note: Transcripts are considered official if sent by parent/legal guardian who is facilitating the students homeschool education.

Standardized Test Scores

  • The SAT or ACT is required for all freshmen unless the student is 22 years of age or older.

Note: Scores are considered official if sent by parent/legal guardian who is facilitating the students homeschool education.

Regular Acceptance

  • SAT 480 critical reading, 450 math
  • ACT 19 English/19 Math/19 Reading/19 Social Science/19 Composite

Note: If these requirements are not met, CSU will review each application on an individual basis.

Dual Enrollment/CLEP/AP/IB (if applicable):

Official transcripts/scores must be sent from the institution/organization at which the credits/scores were achieved.
