Dr. Marc Embler has been named Title IX Coordinator for Charleston Southern University.
As Title IX Coordinator, Embler will investigate discrimination and harassment as outlined by Title IX, Campus SaVE Act and VAWA.
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 is a federal civil rights law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in any education program or activity that receives federal funding. He will continue in his duties as Dean of the Center for Academic Excellence.
