CSU nursing master’s alums honored by Regional Medical Center

Two graduates of Charleston Southern’s master of science in nursing program were recently recognized for nursing excellence by the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.

Kartina Harrison ’15 received the Nightingale Award, which honors excellence in nursing. She is currently the unit based educator of the Progressive Care Unit.

Brad Holmes ’14 was named Nurse of the Year for General Units/Supervisory Care. Holmes is nursing director of the Emergency Department and director of urgent care for Bamberg and Santee.

Charleston Southern University offers two online master of science in nursing programs:

  • The Master of Science in Nursing, Nurse Educator emphasis is a faith-based graduate nursing program that prepares nurses to serve in the faculty/nurse educator roles within the health care setting.  
  • The Master of Science in Nursing, Nursing Leadership and Healthcare Administration emphasis is a faith-based graduate nursing program that prepares nurses to serve in the leadership and administrative roles within health care settings.
